The ATALANTA Research Program is a large-scale research project aimed at investigating corporate governance-related topics and diverse ownership structures for a broad range of corporations, covering various industries and regions—all around the world.
The research program involves data gathering procedures to evaluate secondary data (i.e., via public databases) as well as primary data (i.e., via the ATALANTA Survey), various data analysis techniques to draw inferences from these data sources, and the distribution of insights via scientific reports and publications. As such, its results will contribute important insights into the state of corporate governance and ownership structures around the world and inform efforts to enhance governance practices and outcomes in corporations.
Our research covers over 81 million companies worldwide.
Research institutions around the world are invited to contribute to – and benefit from – the Atalanta Program. Stay tuned to see a first list of supporters here.
To facilitate the generation of knowledge worldwide, our project covers 195 countries and is translated into 122 languages.
Your answers will enable scholars around the world to take a well-founded position on extant principles of corporate governance and ownership structures on the basis of your expert statements and thus improve the framework conditions for the development of your company.
The large-scale survey data and insights from the ATALANTA Research Program will thus ultimately help corporations understand current governance trends and the impact of governance on their overall performance. Thereby, we adhere to strictest data privacy rules.
